Encounter!

Touched by God's love, I'll never be the same again...

Really thank God for what He has down through Encounter retreat. Was simply overwhelmed when the revelation of the cross was shown to me. God not only taught me about His forgiveness and love; He wanted me to extend it to the people in my sphere of influence.

Thankful for the Holy Spirit for being so evident throughout the whole retreat, revealing past things that I should have dealt with. The whole cry I had for this Encounter was to lay every past things at his feet. Love Jesus for being so personal and for His finished work, and at the same time thank Him for releasing me from the prisons the devil has kept me captive for so long, and healing me from those past hurts. It was just a word from Jesus, “It is finished,” and my life was totally set free from those strongholds.

Also the Holy Spirit reminded me that my life is a story with a message, and God is inviting me to write a better story. Yes no doubt after the Encounter I may be like Jesus's disciple, Peter, standing on rough waters again, I know I will fix my eyes on Jesus and I am not going to go back to the prison the devil once locked me into, for I know I am a child of God and I am destined for greater. I will triumph and claim the victory that Jesus has won on the cross, for He is for me, so who will stand against me?

Father seal that work that You have done in this Encounter. Help me not to doubt; I'll never desire to turn back again. Use me for greater in this generation God. Let me humble myself the lowest so that I may exalt You the highest. This is my cry...
