Right versus wrong

In life, there are two choices you can make. Either you walk in the right path and be blessed, or you walk in the wrong path and land yourself in destruction. Today, I'm going to identify what is the difference when people choose right and wrong.

1) Priorities
Right- when you place Jesus as your priority in life, you will want to desire to please Him. Regardless of your thoughts, or acts, when your priorities are set on Jesus, you will have a positive mindset on things. For instance, when you are in pain, you can think of the death that Jesus bore for you, and your pain will somehow become lesser as you compare the difference between your pain and Jesus's pain.

Wrong- placing the world as your priority in life, for example, gambling and idols, sometimes you will be so bothered by them that you will not care about the feelings of others, Jesus included, and you may not only be on the road of destruction, you will also bring destroyal to your close kins.

'But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.'
Matthew 6:33

2) Leader
Right- God is never a God who will ask you to do things that are not right. Therefore, placing Him as your leader in life, you can be rest assured that you will never walk in the wrong path, as long as you closely obey His commandments.

Wrong- the devil is always finding ways to drift you further away from God. If you place him as your leader in life, you are going against God, and will keep sinning against God. The devil will always lead you on the wrong track and leave you discontented with life.

'As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”
1 Peter 1:14-16

3) Time
Right- we are only given 24 hours a day, and we are expected to spend it wisely. Spending more of our time on Godly things, especially devotions and prayer time, we can invest in the kingdom of God.

Wrong- deciding to spend meaningless time on useless stuffs that will not last, at the end of your day, you will find that you have no time to spare to do other meaningful things. Not spending your time on Godly things will leave you out with regrets in your life.

'Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.'
Joshua 1:8

Today, I urge you to make wise choices in your life so that you will be abundantly blessed in everything you do. Always ask God if you are confused when making a decision in life. Listen to Him!

'Be still, and know that I am God.'
Psalms 46:10

'If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.'
James 1:5

May God bless you! :)
